Scientific evidence is more compelling when you can SEE, FEEL, and HEAR the evidence!
I designed this lesson and its associated materials for inquirED, a practice-based professional development and curriculum company. At the time (in 2018), the company was piloting science curriculum in some of its early school district partners.
This lesson, called "Conservation of Matter" was part of a 5th grade science unit driven by the question How can properties of matter help us understand the world around us?
In this lesson, students find evidence that matter is conserved when a physical or chemical change occurs.
